RESPONSIBILITY

Environmental profile

At Nuura strive to make a difference. That is why we are in the process of implementing ISO 14001, an internationally recognized environmental management system that helps us work more structured with environmental considerations and minimize our overall environmental impact.

Our efforts are targeted at the B2B market, where we want to offer solutions that meet high environmental standards. As part of our work, we continuously review our value chain, energy consumption and material selection to optimize resource consumption and minimize waste.

In addition, at Nuura, we have prepared a packaging guide that strives to continuously increase the amount of FSC-certified materials in our packaging and minimize the use of plastic and foam.

In the long term, we strive to prepare climate accounts for each individual product in accordance with the GHG protocol. This will give our customers greater insight into the environmental footprint of the products and a better basis for making informed choices. In addition, the life cycles will be used internally to develop our products, both existing collections and new launches.

We believe in continuous improvement and look forward to sharing more concrete initiatives as we develop our environmental strategy.

Long-term relationships and responsible business conduct

At Nuura, we focus on building long-term relationships – both internally and externally. We work with suppliers who share our values and for whom responsibility is a natural part of business operations. This applies both in the context of production and in relation to human rights and ethical business conduct. We prioritize transparency and maintain a close dialogue with our partners, regardless of where in the world they are located.

Since the company was founded in 2017, the CEO position at Nuura has been held exclusively by women, and our board consists of 40% women and 60% men.

A workplace with room for development and well-being

Internally, we strive to create an attractive and inclusive workplace where professionalism, commitment and job satisfaction go hand in hand. We have a flat organizational structure where all employees are recognized as valuable to the company's success. Collaboration and mutual support are fundamental elements of our culture.

In addition, we practice a flexible work culture with a balanced division between office and home work. We trust that our employees work structured and efficiently, no matter where they are.

Diversity and talent development

We hire based on skills and personality and do not place emphasis on gender, ethnicity or age in the recruitment process. This has resulted in an equal gender distribution among our employees, with approximately 50% women and 50% men.

As part of our commitment to education and talent development, we continuously offer internships and apprenticeships to both Danish and international students. We want to contribute to a strong professional foundation for the next generation of employees and leaders.

Based on Nuura's values, we strive to prepare an ESG report in accordance with the voluntary standard, which will be strategically integrated into our business model.
