At Nuura, we work in a targeted and structured manner to integrate responsibility throughout our entire value chain. Since September 2025, we have been ISO 14001 certified, which documents our systematic approach to environmental management and our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental impact.

Our efforts cover the entire value chain:

• Production: We optimise processes to reduce resource consumption, waste, and emissions without compromising quality.

• Design and development: Environmental considerations are incorporated from the earliest concept phase, with a focus on materials, energy-efficient solutions, and long product lifetimes.

• Sales and distribution: We work actively to reduce transport-related emissions and improve logistics solutions while maintaining a high level of service.

We have also developed a packaging guideline with the ambition of increasing the use of FSC-certified materials and reducing the amount of plastic and Styrofoam.

We collaborate with our suppliers to collect the data required to map the environmental footprint of our products. These data form the basis for life cycle assessments (LCAs), which will provide both us and our customers with insight into the products’ environmental impact and support the development of more sustainable solutions.

We prioritise transparency, responsibility, and ethical business conduct in all collaborations with both suppliers and customers. Since the company’s establishment, the role of CEO has been held exclusively by women, and our board of directors consists of 40% women and 60% men.
