TAJ HESSISCHER HOF, FRANKFURT
In the heart of Frankfurt, the iconic Grandhotel Hessischer Hof has been reimagined as Taj Hessischer Hof Frankfurt. Following an extensive renovation, the hotel combines its European heritage with the warmth and sensibility that characterise Taj Hotels.

A historic hotel in a new light
The interior, created by JOI-Design, bridges the hotel’s rich history with a new, international expression. Classic architectural details meet warm materials, refined colours and Indian references, creating an interior that feels both timeless and contemporary.

Lighting as part of the architecture
Nuura lighting forms a natural part of the hotel’s renewed expression. In the elegant common areas, Miira Wall casts a soft and pleasant light against the classic wall panelling.

Its simple form and opal glass globe add a sense of contemporary lightness, while the golden details complement the warm material palette of the interior.

On the hotel terrace, lighting is equally considered as part of the overall design. Here, Liila creates a decorative point of light against the stone façade, enhancing the transition between the historic architecture and the relaxed outdoor setting.

Unifying aesthetics
Throughout the hotel, the lighting contributes to a calm and inviting atmosphere, highlighting the meeting of classic European elegance and the distinctive hospitality of Taj Hotels.
