Historic buildings merged into a boutique hotel
Park Lane Copenhagen is the result of an extensive renovation of a historic property on Strandvejen in Hellerup, where two buildings from different periods have been combined into a single, exclusive boutique hotel. The interior design respects the original classical character, featuring stucco, French balconies, and a new façade, while seamlessly integrating modern hotel comforts.

In this context, lighting plays a central role in supporting the hotel’s identity.
Nuura was chosen to provide chandeliers for the rooms and outdoor lighting for the Michelin restaurant 2900, as the brand’s design language and DNA align perfectly with the hotel’s style and design philosophy.

A harmonious whole
The lighting is designed to respond to the hotel’s daily rhythm: functional and precise during the day, and soft and subdued in the evening. The result is a natural coherence between space, function, materials, and history, enhancing Park Lane Copenhagen’s sophisticated and refined character.
“The hotel consists of two buildings from different periods, so it was essential to create a harmonious whole — architecturally and in terms of design, both inside and out”, says Camilla van den Tempel.
